LAST SCHOOL LUNCHES OF 2018!!!! 🙌🏽🙌🏽 | Packed Lunch Ideas | Kid Friendly Gluten Free

And a note Haven has the same thing as Haley and ashlynn wanted her leftover gluten-free pizza from the other night. She has a juice box and green peppers and grapes and gluten-free pretzels and a note and applesauce, and she has some cookies and Hailey and field trip.

Today, eat on a bus. What was your favorite thing and what did you eat? What was your favorite, the white peppers peppers now for Tuesday lunch, the kids have Bologna and cheese grapes. Again, I’m a couple: green peppers and tomatoes. This is Haley’s the juice box, some popcorn, a fruit and green bar and fruit. Snacks Peyton has the same lunch, just no tomatoes, but everything else. Oh no. He has a different um.

He wanted fruit and green, so he has a granola bar and then, instead of a sandwich, ashlynn has pickles and ham. Those are two pieces of ham rolled up, so that’s six pieces right there. She has tomatoes and green peppers and grapes, and some popcorn a juice box, a Latino fruit and green bar and some fruit snacks, and we have this little man and help me pack today you see your brother, you got your baby, wants you yeah everybody’s got a Baby around here today, because my god yeah then there’s some your baby right there I did pretty good.

Today, you did um Brianna’s same thing as me: yeah, you think you just need a little bit more for Wednesday. Lunch Haley has peanut butter and jelly. Are these naked juices, a chocolate pudding, cucumbers and green peppers, an apple and some chips? Hayden has the same. An ashlynn mom has a different drink. Ashlynn has gluten-free bread, but peanut butter and jelly, and she has the same. Everything is a real baby.

That’s her baby! It’s loud and here’s our baby there’s my other baby baby sitting near babies in there and your backpack, and if you missed his birth story article I will link it up here and also down below in the description box. You guys can go, read it. It’s nothing! Fancy, it’s me, no hair done no hair. I have hair, but my hair is up. It’s not done and no makeup, and it’s just me sitting on the couch nursing him talking about our of our story.

But it’s interesting. I put up a bunch of pictures of him in a NICU and stuff, so you guys can go read that eat everything, ain’t everything. What was your favorite? Oh hey! Are you dancing? Oh you both match today, brother with your unicorn outfit. Look at sissy shirt. What’s on your shirt and the big kids went out with their dad, he came and picked them up to take him to get a haircut and probably take them up to dinner so yeah.

This is everything she told me what her favorite was before she left. What I forgot was open, so um and Hayden ate mostly everything I eat more than him for Thursday lunch, the kids have wraps I’m either out of bread, or I can’t find it in the freezer and Gary’s not home, to dig in the freezer for us. So wraps they’re getting they are having chicken. I had shredded chicken in the fridge so they’re having lettuce with shredded chicken prevalent she and bacon, and then I gave them ranch so they can dip it in a cheese.

Stick. Sorry Haley has a yoghurt, Ritz crackers and a juice box and vanilla wafers for her dessert. Hayden has the same thing as Haley. Just instead of yogurt, he has applesauce, everything else is the same and then ashlynn has a gluten-free wrap and those things are kind of. I don’t even know how they taste, but it’s like cardboard. I couldn’t even roll it up, so I don’t know if she’s going to be able to eat it, I’m just going to tell her to kind of eat it like a taco and dip it in there.

But she has the same stuff on it, just a different, wrap and then or I’ll tell her to just take off the wrap and eat the cheese and meat and stuff by itself, which is I’m going to guess what she’ll do um. She has celery and ranch yogurt. She has popcorn instead of Ritz crackers and cuz. This was a bag leftover from Gary’s lunch, the other day that he didn’t eat my juice box, and I did give her a couple vanilla wafers.

They are not gluten-free, but she only eats a couple. She should be okay, myself, one for lunch. Today it was good, hey mom’s, your favorite celery, yeah, it’s good! So this would you like your yeah ha tight, you’re up rain. I didn’t eat it cuz! I was about to eat it last, but I don’t have any time. Okay. So what was your favorite thing today? Celery hi, hi, hi, Wilder Ely. Had you had this one for Friday lunch, the kids have pizzas and they do have another one, I’m just letting them cool.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=BwafgMypCSI

I’r going to put a piece of parchment paper in between that. I just made these important out of them. So they’re going to show these pizzas at juice box, there’s some peanut butter crackers. It just made Ritz crackers, I’m put peanut butter in between them. A Haley has a strawberry, cheesecake muffin and a couple Oreos and apple and celery leaf. Hayden has the same thing, except he has a chocolate chip, muffin and then ashlynn has gluten free pizza.

She has a gluten-free blueberry muffin and instead of crackers, she has a gluten free fruit and grain bar. So you all need those those crackers. Yes, they were just crackers and I put peanut butter finally, for this week, Haley age, what they had an early dismissal today and they both said that they had to eat a lot earlier and they weren’t that hungry at lunch. So what was your favorites? You got hurt son um, anybody guess what no more lunch articles for two weeks say: no more lunch bye! Oh thank you! So much for reading.

Now, let’s get to those lunches Good morning, friends. Now we are running super late today, so I’m going to try to get Through this quickly Today, I’m packing a little Deconstructed sandwich We have a lot of Hawaiian Rolls left over from a birthday party, so I went ahead and just Cut them in half like this and then I’m sending The meat and the cheese separate so the kids Can actually build them when they’re ready to eat them Now over here, I’m sending one little apple, cinnamon fig bar, I’m also sending a big Thing of blueberries, some peaches and cream Yogurt from Trader Joe’s, this is super good and of Course we have our juice today This is a nut-free day, but I am including some Halloween pretzels, Okay, so I’m going to go ahead.

And pop all of my lids on get my ice pack in there and then we’ll be headed out the door. Oh yes, the kids also will be taking their water bottles today, ( kitchen, timer, dings, ), Okay, guys so we’re back home now and right now. I actually Have all the kids with me Say: hi [ Children, ] Hi, [, Jennifer ]. So let’s See what they ate today. First, I have McKenzie’s. How did it go? Mckenzie, [, McKenzie ].

It was good [, Jennifer ]. It was good. You ate all of your sandwich very nice and your fig bar and all of Your blueberries are gone. You ate everything, even the pretzels, [ McKenzie, ], Yep, [, Jennifer, ], Good job And now for Jackson’s. How did yours go today? Jack, [, Jackson, ] Good? I ate All the blueberries [ Jennifer ], You ate all of your food. Oh you just have some pretzels left, [ Jackson ].

I didn’t see it [ Jennifer ], But you ate All of your blueberries Awesome. Okay! Now it’s time for Lily’s How’d, you do Lily [ Lily, ], Good [, Jennifer ]! Did you eat your sandwich? You ate your sandwich, but you just have a little bit of a fig bar left. Do you wan na eat it right now, [ Lily, ], Yeah, [, Jennifer, ], Yeah, okay, And you have some pretzels Left and your blueberries, What was wrong with your blueberries [ Lily ], That they were a little sour [ Jennifer ].

They were sour, Oh [, Lily ]! You got all the sour ones for me: [ Jennifer, ], All the Sour ones are for you: Does anybody else wan na eat these You’ll eat those? Okay, guys we’ll see you tomorrow Good morning guys. So the theme of today’s Lunches is use what you’ve got. I did not make it to the Store over the weekend, so I’m kinda running low on fresh things, But I do have a lot of things. In the house that I’m trying to use up so that’s what We’re going with today – And I am packing some Snacks for the kids as well, so I think I’ll start there.

Now in these cute little Goldfish containers, you would think that I have Goldfish, but I actually don’t – I just have a few of these Little cheddar crackers because this box has been Opened for a couple days now and I’m trying to use it up, But I only sent them with a couple. I definitely don’t fill the Whole thing with crackers, because I would prefer the kids To eat this for their snack, But to tell you the truth: The kids aren’t super crazy about these, because these Ones have the hidden veggies and my kids can tell the difference, But I have three of these left and I would really like to use them up.

So I’m going to send this And hope for the best Moving onto the lunch like Normal they’re, pretty much the same. Just Lily has A little bit different So I’ll go ahead and Start with McKenzie’s Now today, I’m actually Packing leftovers, I have some. I can’t remember If it’s mandarin chicken or orange chicken, but It’s the kind that you get at Trader Joe’s. It’s fully Cooked and you just heat it up, It’s actually really good.

But I had a lot of leftovers from last night’s dinner. So I just reheated it’til, it was really hot. And then stuck it in here And then to go along with That I was out of a lot of fresh fruit, so today It’s all about the pineapple, My kids love pineapple And to go along with that, I have the last few cucumbers From the big Costco bag, Instead of cutting them in rounds today, I cut them in sticks, so maybe the kids will think it’s something fun and new and they’ll decide to eat.

It I’m not quite sure, But that’s my strategy So to go along with that. I did pack a little teeny thing of ranch, just like That and then for some calcium and dairy, I’m sending A little yogurt tube Now I would have liked To have frozen these, I like to freeze them. But I forgot so maybe I’ll just stick a cool Pack in there as well – And I thought it would Be really fun to go ahead since they’re doing mandarin chicken to include the kids’ Little training chopsticks They’re, just like this, Isn’t that cute They have like a little Finger thing there I found these at Daiso, which is like the Japanese dollar store, So I’ll go ahead and put Those in but just in case I did pack their regular fork as well.

Okay guys, so it is now About 4:30 on Monday and I’m finally getting around To checking the lunches Kenzie, what was the Best part of lunch today, [ McKenzie ], The orange chicken [ Jennifer ], The orange chicken yeah, Was it still hot [ McKenzie ] Yeah [ Jennifer ] Yeah, that’s good. I heard Lily say that she Liked the pineapple the best, So it looks like you, Guys did really good, but I’m going to go ahead.

And take a peek here: Yep you ate all of your chicken. Let’s see you ate all your Pineapple and your cucumber, I think it totally worked to Cut the cucumbers length-wise this time because Lily Thought that they were celery, So she was like mom. I ate all my celery, So I totally tricked her. Did you use your chopsticks [ McKenzie ] Yeah [ Jennifer ] Yeah did It work out really good [ McKenzie ] Yeah.

Can I show you [ Jennifer ], Oh yeah, you Can do it now awesome, Okay, moving onto Jackson’s, he ate all of his orange chicken So that’s really good [ McKenzie ] He likes orange chicken too [ Jennifer ] Yeah Got the chopsticks the spoon He ate everything it’s all gone. Let’s see, all the crackers are gone. You guys must have been hungry today. Huh [ McKenzie ], Yeah, [, Jennifer, ], Yeah, Okay, let’s check Lily’s, I can believe Lily’s is gone.

She never finishes her food, That’s amazing! Okay and everything else is gone. There you go So today was a total success. I will totally be serving Orange chicken again That was a win in my book. Okay, we’ll see you guys tomorrow, Now lunches seem pretty full Today – and I also have snacks and that’s because we’re going to be gone for most of the day into the evening, So I’ll go ahead and Show you what I packed Starting with McKenzie’s.

I have something a little Bit different today and that is egg salad on a mini croissant. Now the kids haven’t Had egg salad in a while, so I’m not quite sure how That’s going to go, but I think they’ll like it and I like Putting it on the croissant, It doesn’t get as soggy As white bread does And I’m keeping the sandwich together with this cute little pick, so it’s not going to flop open and spill Our everywhere, hopefully Now, I’m also packing some Celery sticks with some hummus instead of ranch to dip them in this time and also packing some kiwis.

Now, I’m also packing Some fruit punch today and for the snacks, I’m also Packing this GoGo Squeez – and this is the apple strawberry, flavor and then in here I have some Pop chips, but these Pop chips are Actually, Star Wars shaped Now, unfortunately, it seems Most of these are actually broken, so you can’t really Tell what the shape is, but I think the kids will still like them And just like normal Jackson’s.

Lunch and Lily’s lunch are pretty much the Same just the quantities might be a little bit different, So I’m going to go ahead and Pop all of my lids on put my ice pack in there and Then we’ll be out the door – Okay, guys so we’re back home now and it is about 4:35. I’ve got McKenzie here, helping me [ McKenzie ], Hi, [, Jennifer ]. So let’s See what they ate today, starting with your lunch Starting with McKenzie’s Ooh, it looks like you ate everything.

So what did you think About the hummus today [ McKenzie ], The hummus was very good [ Jennifer ]. Was it good? This was a garlic Roasted hummus, actually So do you like ranch or Hummus or do you like both [ McKenzie ], Both [ Jennifer ], Both Okay, good good job? Now, let’s see how Jackson did ( Jennifer laughs ), Let’s see, oh Jackson, didn’t Eat all of his Pop chips: [ Jackson, ]’Cause. I was full [, Jennifer ], You don’t like Pop chips: [ Jackson, ]! No! I was just full because I ate lots of that egg.

Salad, [ Jennifer ]. Oh you ate All of your egg – salad, That’s great, So he ate everything I would say the egg salad was a win. I would definitely make that Again or maybe chicken salad, Okay, now we’re onto Lily’s So Lily. You didn’t Eat all your Pop chips Was your tummy full [, Lily, ], Yeah, [, Jennifer ], Or you just wanted to play [ Lily ]. I just wanted to play [ Jennifer, ], Okay, let’s see Okay, so Lily ate most of her hummus There’s just a little bit left The egg salad got a little bit messy in your box, but that’s okay.

She ate most of her sandwich. Just a little bit left, I got all of my picks back. Did you like your kiwi Yeah And you just have a Little bit of celery left So very good job today, guys And we’ll see you tomorrow Good morning guys So here’s what I’m packing Today and just like normal, these are pretty much all the same, So I’ll go ahead and show you McKenzie’s In the thermos today I packed about four meatballs In some marinara sauce, I just heated it up as Hot, as I could get it and stuck it in the thermos Now in this little Container, I have some grapes, some Havarti cheese, a Little Hawaiian roll, which I’ve cut in half In case they wanted to make a little meatball sandwich That would be really fun and tasty, And then I have something New that the kids have never had before It’s these little edamame pods They’ve, never had’em before I think they’ll be okay, but we’ll see I just got these ones from Trader Joe’s They’re, already salted already cooked You just have to defrost them, I’m also sending some juice.

Today and a special treat in their lunch, These are little mini Dutch stroopwafels, which are these guys. These are so good. These come from the Netherlands and it’s basically like A crunchy waffle outside with some yummy caramel inside, But you just get one Little teeny one in here, so it’s a fun little treat for the kids And then for snack. Today, I Have two different things: First, I have an unsweetened applesauce and then I’m also sending These mini crunchy cookies.

Now these are basically Honey, graham cracker, but just in a circle shape So little, graham cracker cookies. So I’m going to go ahead and send them with their water bottles. And then, when we get back, I will Show you what they ate: Okay, guys we’re back home! Now and excuse my yawning, I definitely could use a nap right now, but that’s not going to happen So I’m going to go ahead. And start with McKenzie’s, Now I’m not going to recap: What I put in here,,’cause, I know I just told You guys what I put in here, But here’s McKenzie’s and Let’s check the thermos McKenzie’s right here, Say: hi [, McKenzie, ], Hi, [, Jennifer ].

Let’s see Oh no. You left two meatballs [ McKenzie ]. I know I was full [ Jennifer ], You were full Well. I only gave you four so next time should. I give you two [ McKenzie ], Yes, [ Jennifer ], Okay! Well, but these are still good. You can eat these later. [ McKenzie ], Okay, [, Jennifer, ], Okay, And this one is empty. Good job, all right, Let’s move onto Jackson’s! If I can find his zipper here.

Okay, so we’ll check his thermos. Oh, oh! No! He just has A little bit of sauce He ate all of his meatballs and I have kind of a mess in here. Let’s see uh, oh, He did not do very well at all. He did not eat his cheese, It doesn’t look like he ate any well. Maybe he ate one pod of edamame [ McKenzie ]. He never tried those before so I think he didn’t wan na try them [ Jennifer ] And oh, I found a missing meatball it’s in there, But you know what it’s not too late.

He could probably still eat this. I don’t think this is bad, yet [ McKenzie ], I’m going to eat This I’m going to eat this [ Jennifer ] Yeah. This is still good. I think he can still eat that, And so that’s not too Not too bad, not the best, I’m not sure if he liked the edamame, Let’s see for Lily, she Still has her cookies left, Let’s check her thermos (, McKenzie, laughs, ). Oh, she has three meatballs left.

She only ate one meatball, That’s not very good, And in here she ate everything. Except for some bread and a little bit of cheese, So maybe I packed too much today So tomorrow and she did eat her edamame. She told me that she really liked it, which I was surprised. Really surprised about So maybe less food tomorrow, Hi guys. Now today, I’m packing my kids’ favorite. We have hot dogs, but I have a trick to packing hot dogs in lunches.

Here’s how I do it First, I take my thermoses and I like to fill them halfway with Some boiling hot water, and then I put the lids on Keep all that heat inside Then. I just add my hot dogs to some water and wait for it to boil When the water is boiling. The Hot dogs are ready to pack, But here’s a tip you guys Now. Normally I would Dump out the hot water that I added to my thermoses And then add my food, but I’m not doing that today, I’m keeping the hot water in the thermos and I’m adding my hot dogs To that hot water and that hot water’s going to help keep The hot dogs, nice and warm Just like my hot dogs, I am going to cut my hot dog buns in half.

They just fit much better. That way, And I like to put them In a sandwich container, I find these at Target in The dollar spot all the time And of course, I’m Packing some condiments, I have these little containers. From the Dollar Tree They are leak-proof and BPA-free. So I’m just going to add a Little squirt of ketchup to each of them and then For my daughter Lily, I’m going to add some mustard because she’s the only One who likes mustard Now, I definitely wan na – remember to pack our spoon-knife-fork combo today,,’cause the kids definitely need it.

They’re going to use the fork end to get the hot dog out of the Thermos and onto the bun And then they’re going to use the knife end, which is really dull, not Sharp at all to go ahead and spread their condiments All over the bun Now to go along with our hot dog, I did put a little teeny Box of raisins in there It just fits perfectly. It’s so tiny, and I also am sending some juice This. It, the Berry, Berry, Good Lemonade and in this corner I Have some applesauce, but this is actually applesauce.

With apricot in there, so it’s a little bit different. I hope the kids enjoy it And for this snack today, I am sending these little. They say that they’re breakfast biscuits but they’re, basically Like an oatmeal cookie, that’s really crisp and I know the kids are going to like these Because they’re blueberry and most importantly Because they have PJ Mask on them and my kids love that show So I’m going to go ahead and Pack, this up and then when we get back home, of course, I’ll show you what they ate: ( kitchen timer, dings, ), Okay, guys we’re back home now and usually the kids like To help me during this point, but as you can probably hear, They are playing outside, I think they’re playing Simon, Says So I’ll go ahead and Show you what they ate and then I will clean it all up.

First up I have McKenzie’s. Now I did ask the kids To dump their water out when they were done with their hot dogs and so McKenzie did she Ate all of her hot dogs And whoa, everything else is totally gone, So she did a really good job today. Just have a tiny bit of Ketchup left, and that is it And let’s see Jackson He ate all of his hot dogs and dumped out his water And he ate everything in here too, just a little Bit of ketchup left So next time, less ketchup And then Lily she dumped out her water, but I know she didn’t eat all of her food.

She left. Let’s see she Left one half of her bread, So she did eat the hot dog But she didn’t eat the bread and then in this little nub here we have a tiny bit of hot dog left And it looks like she only Ate one out of the three biscuits,’cause each of These come with three, So she only ate two of those So overall, not too bad. They definitely enjoyed the hot dogs. Okay, friends. I hope you Enjoyed these nut-free lunches, If you did don’t forget to Hit that red subscribe button and we’ll see you in the next one ( upbeat pop music, ) ♪ May only be the two of us ♪ ♪, Together ♪ ♪.

6 NUT FREE School Lunch Ideas 🍎 Bunches Of Lunches FAVORITES

This is Jennifer with The Family Fudge And on this blog we like to share lots and lots of fun lunch ideas, But on today’s article We’re going to focus on just nut free lunches and I’m going to share some of our favorite. But before we get started, don’t forget to hit that Red subscribe button and go ahead and give This article a big thumbs up, if you liked it Now, let’s get to those lunches.

First up, we have lunch idea, number one, So I actually packed These lunches last night just to save a bit of time this morning, yet I’m still running late, I’r not sure how it happens, But anyway, all the kids Are going to school today, and they have to have A lunch with no nuts: they go to a nut free school today, So I also had to pack them a Snack today and an extra drink So I’ll go ahead and Start with the snacks each one of the kids has their own little reusable snack bag, And today it’s super simple.

With just some Pirate Booty And then on to the lunches, now all of these lunches Are pretty much the same, so each of the kids do have this little spoon fork: knife combo! So hopefully I’ll get these back today, Let’s see right in here. So each kid has an applesauce cup, some par steamed broccoli. So this isn’t completely raw But it’s not mushy either it’s somewhere in between And then I also have some Turkey, cheese rollups: This is just turkey and Cheese in a tortilla And then this is a little Container of the homemade ranch like I packed yesterday, They really liked that and It went over really well So there’s the main lunch Now, I’m also packing an apple juice.

Today These are the ones from Costco they’re, 100 % juice, no added sweetener. So I really like these And, of course, they’ll also be Packing their water bottles Next up is lunch idea. Number two Today is a really busy day and we’re about to head out the door. The kids have school and then they have their gymnastics class and then maybe later we’ll head to Costco, I’m not quite sure. But I’m going to go ahead and show you what we packed in the lunches today And today is sort of a make.

Your own lunchable day So I’ll go ahead and Show you what we packed First off. We have some crackers Now these are just a regular Ones from Trader Joe’s, we really like those ones, And then I have some Slices of cheddar cheese, which I have cut into flower shapes with this cute little cutter. That I found at Daiso Now, if you’re curious, I do Save the excess cheese sections and my one year old, Likes to snack on these, Let’s see we also have some A rolled up smoked turkey and I like to put these on these cute little reusable picks.

Now these ones are actually From the Dollar Tree and they’re, not sharp, so They’re really safe for the kids And I like that they keep the meat sort of rolled up and looking nice And then I also have some Grapes, some carrot, sticks and a little container of ranch dressing. The kids really like the ranch dressing, so I just send a little bit And then they also have a juice. Today I usually do juice on Tuesdays and Thursdays kind of a special treat.

This is the organic Apple grape from Costco and then for their treat They have a fruit leather. Now this one is from Trader Joe’s in the apple raspberry flavor, So they love these and I know they’re Going to love this as well Now pretty much all of these Are the same like I said, however, for my three year, Old, I do cut up her grapes. Grapes makes me a little Bit nervous with her because she doesn’t Usually slow down to eat so definitely cut her grapes.

Next is lunch number three, But today my older two Kids have a field trip and my preschooler she’s staying with me, but I went ahead and made her a lunch. Just like the older kids anyway, And today, I’m trying out a new thermos these new thermoses that I’ve never tried before So, hopefully those will go over well Now, because I’m using the thermos today, I don’t really have room in my lunchbox for my regular containers, so instead I’m using The sandwich container and I’m dividing it with my silicone cups, so just like that Now just like normal these Lunches are pretty similar.

I just have a little bit of Less food for my preschooler So I’ll go ahead and show you In this container. We have some grapes, some strawberries and some cheese. Now this brown cheese I get from Costco and it’s very much like a Babybel cheese except it doesn’t have the wax wrapper. We have that And then in the thermos today we’re trying out the Joe O’s, which are very much like SpaghettiOs, but these are like the Organic Trader Joe’s version, So what I did was I started.

By taking all of my thermoses – and I filled them up, With boiling hot water and then let it hang out, There for about half an hour Longer would have been okay, but I just don’t have that much time. So then, while that was Happening I heated up my Joe O’s to almost boiling, like Really really hot and then I dump the water Out of the thermoses and filled it with Joe O’s, But it’s not full. It’s Probably just about halfway full because that’s enough for my kids And then I put the lid on tight.

So these claim that they’ll Stay hot for up to five hours, but their lunch time is Really just in three hours, so we will see I’ll ask them if it stayed warm or not. Okay. Moving on For their snack today, I just Sent a little cereal bar, they don’t need anything Fancy for snack today, these I get at Trader Joe’s, and this is the mango flavor Which is their favorite Today, I’m also sending an apple juice box and, of course, they’ll Have their water as well And then in this little container, I just have some pretzels These square pretzels fit so perfectly in these little containers.

And I think it’s really cute And this keeps them from getting soggy. So I didn’t put the Pretzels in with these guys, And also I’ve remembered to pack, their little spoon fork deal. So these are pretty much The same, like I said, Moving on to lunch idea, number four And I’m also giving the Thermoses another try, We use them last week and They worked out really well, but today I packed some Meatballs with barbecue sauce And I went ahead and started By filling up the thermoses with hot boiling water first, while I heated up the meatballs, I just put the meatballs in the microwave heated them up as I normally would.

But in a separate container I heated up the barbecue sauce as well, and I got that really piping hot. When everything was ready. I dumped the water out of the thermos put in my meatballs and my barbecue sauce and then I screwed the lid on tight. So we’ll see I’ll ask The kids, how warm they are when they actually dig in Now, other than that I did Kind of a snacky lunch here We have some cheese that I made it into some really cute little heart shapes.

We have more cucumbers, Just like yesterday, I’m really trying to use them. All up before they go bad And then to go with that. I have a little container of ranch. My kids’ favorite thing of for veggies. Now, with our lunch today, I also packed a juice, My kids love the juice, but I try not to give It to them every day, But today they’re having the apple grape And for their little treat I packed a fruit leather.

This is the apple wild Berry from Trader Joe’s And also in their lunch I packed a fig bar These actually have two inside, and these are really good whole-grain and there are actual Figs inside the fig bar Now, of course, the kids will also be packing their water bottles. But that is pretty much it. Oh, I did remember their spoons. We have the spoon fork. Knife combo right in there Next up lunch number five First off I have these Little apple, sauce cups, but they’re, actually apple strawberry, And just so you guys know these fit perfectly inside The little Ziploc lunchboxes I just have them turned around so that you guys can Actually see what they are, But before I close them up, I’m going to go ahead and turn them around.

They just fit perfectly Now to go with that. I also Packed some diced up pears, some ranch and some broccoli. Now today’s broccoli is fresh broccoli, so I don’t know how well They’ll do with that. Are you going to eat it? [ Lily, ], Yeah, [, Jennifer, ] Yeah. I hope you do’cause. Broccoli is good for you right, [, Lily, ], Yeah, [, Jennifer, ], Yeah and then Today I have a special sandwich because I made these sandwiches Today, with some bagel thins Now I really like the bagel thins, because they’re a little bit More dense than regular bread and they don’t get as Soggy as regular bread, So I just took a bagel thin.

I put a thin layer of Mayonnaise and mustard, some sliced cheddar cheese, some honey ham and then I closed it up And then I went ahead and cut them in half because it just fits perfectly Inside this little container – and then I added this cute little pick And when you stick it in the sandwich, it keeps all of the layers. Of the sandwich together, Just in case their lunchbox Goes rolling in their backpack, the sandwich is not going to fall apart.

So I think that is everything That I packed today, I’ll probably also give them A granola bar for their snack and, of course, they’ll Take their water as well And finally, we have lunch idea, number six. I have a Lily with me here: Helping me pack lunches, Can you say: hi [ Lily, ] Hi [ Jennifer ]. So we are About to head out the door but before I do that I’ll go ahead and show you what I packed Now today, I’m trying something different.

I don’t know if the kids Will like it or not Today, I’m packing cereal for lunch. Does it look good [ Lily, ], Mm-hmm [ Jennifer ]? Did you Try the cereal before [, Lily, ] Yeah, [, Jennifer, ] Yeah, these Are the Pumpkin O’s, which are a lot like Cheerios But the pumpkin variety So we’ll see how that goes over Yeah, the Pumpkin O’s on this side and some mandarin oranges on that side. I’r also packing a milk.

This is nice and cold from my fridge, But this is actually shelf-stable milk. So it’s fine. If it doesn’t Stay cold. It’s totally fine, So I told the kids to use your Straw poke a hole right here and then squeeze the milk in there make yourself a bowl of cereal, So they may like it. I’r not quite sure, sounds good to me, though, Of course, I also included a spoon today And in this little container, I have something new as well.

These are little pepperoni bites Now. My kids normally love pepperoni. So I’m thinking that They’re going to like these, So in these guys I Have just the same thing, except I have a little bit less in Lily’s Lily. Does this look Like enough food for you, [ Lily, ], Mm-hmm, [ Jennifer ]. Do you think Your tummy’s going to be full [, Lily, ], Yeah, [, Jennifer, ] Yeah, All right. So I’m going to go ahead and pack these up and then we’ll make it home.

I will show you what we ended up with. Oh, yes and one more Thing before I sign off, because I’ll probably get a lot of questions on the container, These containers are actually The Target store brand Now. Normally I like to Use these Ziploc ones or these Sistema ones, but they wouldn’t really fit In the configuration today, So I’m trying out these new Smaller Target brand ones – and I just have to say That these guys are not they’re already, not my favorite, They break really easily and the lid is actually Kind of hard to get off So I don’t know if my preschooler will be able to do it by herself, but So yeah.

Definitely not my Favorite lunch container, And that brings us to the Question of the day – and that is, is your school nut free? Let me know in the comments down below Okay friends.
